This is what I adore.

This is what I adore. I love sunsets and the sea, I am of Italian and Swiss descent, I love beautiful things, and love creating beautiful spaces.

My Swiss Grandfather used to climb the Swiss Alps and take chunks of crystal out of the sides of the mountains. He was an incredible individual. My Mom, who came over on the boat, has some of these amazing pieces that her Dad found. It must be why I love chandeliers, my daughters name is Chrystal and I chose this precious Kristaller to go over her bed!

I also love Old World Decor, the reason for this great wrought iron bed I bought from Bombay, just before they closed. Heirloom! I used it, my daughter did, and now on to the next generation. Whenever they may arrive!

The treatment over her bed was inspired by a display that I saw in the children's area of IKEA a couple of years ago. I just knew that the little chandelier would look awesome with the sheers behind it!

I love how this treatment came out, it looks like a set for TV or the stage. I was pretty proud of the design, if I must say so myself!

This bathroom came together all because of this pretty white cabinet that we got from IKEA. We ended up painting all of the custom wood that my husband built, white. What an improvement, we were ready to rip it all out.

The mirror on the door is also IKEA and adorable.

I bought the neat towel rack, that I call 'Hotel' (it reminds me of a Stephen King accessory) lol. I have a larger one further down on that same wall, and a towel and toilet paper holder to match. I love that design, and oh, I got 'Hotel' from Home Place. It was on clearance and I only found one item, so my hubby drove me 45 minutes away just to see if they had coordinating pieces, and they DID!

I am crazy, the cute art work on the walls is from my kids! They are now 23, 20, and 17! What is wrong with me?!!! The other framed art on either side of the rack is from Walmart. My hubby picked out the one on the right, oops I mean left (mirror picture!) it's cute 'Family Rules', not that the kids are gonna get the hint or anything!

                          FAMILY RULES
                           HELP EACH OTHER
                 BE  THANKFUL
                               Know   you   are    Loved
                       Pay   with   hugs   and   kisses
                         Try     New    Things
                 Be    Happy
           Show Compassion
                             BE GRATEFUL
                          Dream Big
                             respect   one   another
                                  Laugh  Out  Loud

Oh do I ever love this kitchen, IKEA is so great. I also have a husband that can build anything. I learned how to use the IKEA kitchen planner and designed my little kitchen. We are not quite done, but love how it came out so far. Hubby installed it, of course. I think it reminds me of the beach, the aqua sea handles and accent wall and the sandy colored cabinet doors! I am thrilled with this kitchen, I can not wait until we decide how we are going to change the black tile. I have tried several ideas, and just not too stoked about any of them so far.

I also really love my pretty entrance, I have a gorgeous art Nouveau piece that my Dad gave me top right, one of the crosses was my Italian GrandMa's, and this beautiful copper on wood etched likeness of Mary.

The light fixture is funny, my husband loves monkeys. It has monkeys and palm trees all around it, but it is a well made piece not tacky I swear!

The 'closer' pic is a wall dedicated to my love of the sea and dolphins! Top pic is a beautiful under water photo shopped scene. The large cross was also GrandMa's. On the left is a piece of bamboo with bamboo painted on it! My friend, Janis, is an artist who loves growing and painting bamboo!!! The middle piece is ceramic and I bought that at Clearwater Pier, years ago with money from my Dad!

The sun wall is neat, I painted a faux sunset on this wall, so I put a bunch of suns on the wall. Better pics will follow, of everything!

I can not leave out one of my most favorite possessions, my cute little red Mustang.

I love wrapping, here's a pretty Christmas gift that I gave my daughter last year. I already have my Christmas wrapping paper theme for this year!
Too funny!
